We do not want our waste water from the Wash Bay to directly enter the municipal sanitary sewer. A 150 gallon oil, grease, & solids separator was installed below the Wash Bay at a cost of over $1500. Well, 45 months later, it was time to ‘clean’ the system. Yes, it required TWO trucks!
Cost of proper removal and treatment? $845.00, or $5.64 per gallon! Such is the cost of ‘going green’.
